The BSD-40U is a high quality 1D / 2D desktop barcode scanner. With its high resolution imager, exceptional motion tolerance and broad field of view, the BSD-40U enhances user experience and productivity for any application. The BSD-40U has a high-powered CPU and a high-resolution image sensor, making it adept at reading 1D and 2D barcodes from various surfaces, including paper, uneven media, and digital screens. Its superior IP52-rated design and 1.2m drop resistance ensures long-lasting reliability.

StarSCAN, included with all Star Micronics scanners, is a Utility compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows platforms. Users can tailor their scanning preferences and configure scanners to specific needs. The provided SDK allows for seamless integration with other Star products for POS applications.
