The SIL 73101P is a rugged Industrial Fibre Media Converter designed to operate reliably in harsh environments. It features a fanless design and low power consumption, which eliminates the need for maintenance. Additionally, mature technology and open network standards enable the SIL 73101P to operate efficiently at both low and high temperatures. Moreover, it is resistant to electric interference, salt fog, vibration, and shocks, making it suitable for various applications. The SIL 73101P also includes redundant dual power supplies, which enhances its reliability for always-on connections.

The SIL 73101P supports fibre-optic link capacity, which allows network deployment to extend from 550 meters to 2 kilometres for multi-mode fibre and up to 10/20/40/60/80/120 kilometres for single-mode or WDM fibre. Video surveillance administrators can select a suitable SFP transceiver based on the transmission distance and speed requirements, making it ideal for applications within enterprise data centres and distributed systems.
